Do I need a visa to visit Vietnam?
Most nationalities require a visa to enter Vietnam. You can apply for an E-visa online (valid for 30-90 days) or obtain a Visa on Arrival if you have an invitation letter. Some countries have visa exemptions for short stays. Check our Visa Services page for more details.
When is the best time to visit Vietnam?
Vietnam is a year-round destination, but weather varies by region. Northern Vietnam (Hanoi, Sapa) is best from October to April. Central Vietnam (Da Nang, Hoi An) is ideal from February to August. Southern Vietnam (Saigon, Mekong Delta) is best from December to April.

What is the local currency and can I use Credit Cards?
The local currency is Vietnam Dong (VND). While high-end hotels and restaurants accept credit cards (Visa/Mastercard), small shops and local markets usually require cash. ATMs are widely available in cities.
How can I get a local SIM card?
You can easily buy a 4G SIM card at the airport upon arrival or at any mobile store in the city. Viettel, Vinaphone, and Mobifone are the leading providers with excellent coverage.

Is it safe to travel in Vietnam?
Vietnam is generally very safe for solo and group travelers. Like any tourist destination, you should be mindful of your belongings in crowded areas. Traffic can be hectic, so be cautious when crossing the road!
What should I pack for my trip?
Lightweight cotton clothing is best for the humidity. If visiting the North in winter (Dec-Feb), bring a warm jacket. A good pair of walking shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellent are essential.
